clothing bank

The United Churches Clothing Bank is a remarkable outreach ministry that goes above and beyond to meet the needs of individuals within our community who are facing hardships. By providing not just clothing, but also shoes, household items, and toiletries at absolutely no cost, we aim to alleviate the burdens of those who come to us seeking assistance. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that every urgent need that is brought to our attention is promptly and compassionately addressed. Through the endeavors of the Clothing Bank, we not only fulfill our mission of providing physical necessities but also emphasize the significance of community within our church. By coming together to support and uplift one another, we not only strengthen our faith but also create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

The Clothing Bank provides access to clothing and shoes for individuals of all ages, ranging from babies to adults, offering a wide variety of sizes, including options up to 4x for both men and women. Operating on a schedule, the Clothing Bank is open on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from August (beginning on the 3rd Thursday) through May, with hours from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. However, we understand that circumstances may prevent some individuals from visiting during these scheduled hours or during the summer, so special arrangements can be made to accommodate their needs.

As the colder months approach, we have used coats, as well as new gloves and hats, available to ensure warmth. Additionally, during August and September, we provide underwear and socks for the upcoming school year, including options for adults.

For added convenience, we keep a supply of various hygiene products, laundry detergent, and paper supplies. Each household is eligible to receive up to three items per month from this selection.
